Local Companies Set For Growth

Thanks to the nearby Eagle Ford Shale oil and gas field, natural resource based industries continue to thrive and expand, one such company is Pioneer. Rhonda Fotiades, public affairs specialist with Pioneer, says a recent expansion of their Victoria county operations alone have brought them from about 50 employees to well over 200 in just a matter of weeks.

"Its a brand new facility and soon we will have a grand opening."said Fotiates
