Let’s Square Dance!

The Come and Take It Squares of Gonzales are offering two free square dancing open houses to introduce the fun of square dancing to others. The free open houses will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday Jan. 13 and Jan. 20 at the Presbyterian Church, 414 St. Louis St., in Gonzales. Paid square dancing lessons will begin at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Presbyterian Church in Gonzales. All interested students are invited to attend an open house for an introduction to square dancing, to learn a few steps and meet the friendly square dancers.

Square dancing is a lively social activity that promotes exercise and fitness while encouraging social interaction. Lessons are open to all ages from teens to seniors.
