Kacey Musgraves Leaves Mark on Rodeo Houston

Kacey Musgraves opened Rodeo Houston to glowing reviews.  She did her own thing, as usual!   'Merry Go Round' really got the crowd going. She then threw in some surprises like, 'Mama's Broken Heart,' Which she co-wrote with Miranda Lambert.  Then belted out Selena's 'Como La Flor' toward the end of her set.  This was the final song that Selena sang in her final show ever on the same stage.  The 53,031  in attendance went crazy and then Twitter took over.  Today just happens to be the 24th anniversary of Selena's performance at Rodeo Houston.  Musgraves closed out her set with 'High Horse' and then rode out on a horse!  Kacey Musgraves did Rodeo Houston right!  Just another night at the office for Musgraves, following 4 Grammy wins earlier this month and presenting at the Oscar's the previous night.  It looks like Country has a new Queen.  Thank you Kacey Musgraves!
