Johnny Cash’s Son, John Carter Cash, Arrested in Canadian Airport
John Carter Cash was arrested on Monday afternoon (Oct. 27) after allegedly stripping to his underwear in a Canadian airport.
The 44-year-old son of the late Johnny Cash was reportedly returning to Nashville after a hunting trip in western Newfoundland. The National Post of Toronto reports Mounties were called to the scene in Deer Lake at 2:10PM. Early reports indicated Cash was either drunk or had medical issues. He was eventually confirmed to be under the influence.
Security convinced the songwriter, producer and performer to put his clothes back on before police arrived, and few people witnessed the event. For this reason, no charges were filed and Cash was held until sober. He was cooperative with police, but missed his flight.
