The International Aerobatic Club Contest will occur from 10 a.m. until dusk July 18 through 20 at the Jackson County Airport. The aerobatic team will also be on-site for practice July 17. Between 20 to 25 planes will compete in aerobatic competition maneuvers. The public will be able to interact with the pilots, says the Victoria Advocate. Debbie Rihn Harvey, the highest ranked aerobatic competitor in the U.S., is one of the contest directors.

This event is free and open to the public, weather permitting. Food and drink vendors will be on site. Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs.

The newly remodeled Jackson County Airport is on County Road 4142, about 3 miles north of Edna off U.S. Highway 59. For more information, visit usnationalaerobatics.org.
