Houston Astros Baseball is Finally Back

Pitchers and catchers reported to spring training for the Astros just over a week ago and now it's time to play ball. The Houston Astros kicked off their 2021 spring training season on Sunday at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. The 'Stros lost 6-1 to the Marlins but here is one positive to take away.  FANS were allowed in the stands.  It was only a spring training game but the Astros took the field in front of 1,569 fans.  Those 1500+ fans might have felt like a sold-out playoff game at Minute Maid Park, considering the Astros played for ZERO fans last baseball season.  The Astros will play 24 spring-training games this year.

The Houston Astros will have fans at home games this year. In January, the Astros organization announced that fans will be allowed at home games this year.   A spokesperson within the Astros organization said capacity will be limited to about 25 percent. Single-game tickets are not available just yet, however, you can get access to get tickets by purchasing a full season, weekend game, weekday opponents, or every opponent season ticket plan by clicking here.  

One terrible thing about 2020 was not being able to attend a live Major League Baseball game, so I am hoping that single-game tickets are not that hard to get.  While I love the nostalgia that Minute Maid park brings to us.  Nothing will ever bring back the memory of walking into the Astrodome at the age of 7 for my first ever Major League Baseball game. I still love to drive by the Astrodome to relive the memories.  Let's go Astros!!
