Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas is extending the sell of Girl Scout Cookies in Corpus Christi, Harlingen, Laredo, Victoria and McAllen, to Sunday, March 9th!

Due to extreme weather conditions which were at times freezing, it has been difficult for girls in South Texas to set up cookie booths to sell the beloved, Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Caramel deLites, Lemonades, Shortbreads,  Thanks A Lots, Peanut Butter Sandwiches and our newest cookie- the Cranberry Citrus Crisp!  It is more than a box of cookies- this is a girl led business that teaches them five essential skills such as cooperation, team building, critical thinking, problem solving, practical life skills, healthy relationships, conflict resolution and positive values. All through selling cookies!

The girls earn seventy cents for every box of cookies they sell with proceeds going to fund troop activities, trips and community projects.  With that in mind, we feel it is important to support the girls in their efforts to make their business a success.  The public will also benefit from the sale- While visiting Girl Scout Cookie booths, customers have the opportunity to WIN A YEAR’S SUPPLY OF GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!   Please help us spread the word the Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas Cookie Sale has been extended to Sunday, March 9, 2014!
