G. B. Burris 1915-2003… My Dad

This is my Dad. Today would have been his 100th birthday. He was kind, loving, and tough as a boot. He loved my Mom, his children, and his music. He was a great musician and a great fiddler... and now I wish I would have paid more attention. I was busy paying attention to The Beatles and Buck Owens. He really liked Buck... he didn't care much for The Beatles.  :)

He was a  Deacon in the church and a west Texas oil man. He was kind to everyone and a great Dad. I love him and miss him every day. Happy birthday, Daddy.
