The 63rd Annual Inez Community Benefit Association fundraising event begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Inez Community Center, 2511 U.S. Highway 59 North at the Farm-to-Market Road 444 Inez exit.

A meal of hamburgers, fries, chips and nachos will be served starting at 5 p.m. The top prize in the raffle will be a 2013 Polaris Ranger Crew 4x4. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased at Smitty's Foodmart in Inez. The cake walk and silent auction begin at 6 p.m., followed by the children's games and live auction at 7 p.m. At the auction, the Scotsman cap, which was first donated by Jack Ross of Farm Industrial in 1979, will once again be auctioned. This cap is purchased each year and donated back for the next year. A free dance begins at 9 p.m. with music provided by Clay Crockett & the Shotgun Riders.

This event will benefit scholarships for area students, area service organizations in Victoria and Jackson counties and assistance to needy people in the community. It also helps to maintain the Inez Community Center.
