KIXS108 is your home for exclusive Texas Longhorn access during the 2021 season. Thanks to our friends at Weber Motor Company, KIXS is featuring a weekly segment with Texas Longhorn and Cuero Gobbler Graduate Jordan Whittington. This week he looks ahead to the Texas Tech and the BIG 12 matchups and answers a couple of listener's questions.
The Texas Longhorns rolled over Rice 58-0 this past Saturday. In the interview, Jordan tells us 'it was nice to get that bad taste out of our mouth.' He also talks about Hallettsville Graduate Johnathan Brooks "It was awesome seeing him score his first touchdown.' Whittington adds 'he's good, just seeing him take the coaching and applying what he's learned so fast is great.' He closes his statement about Brooks with this strong statement, 'He's the next one to come out.'  The Longhorns take on the Red Raiders this Saturday in an early game.  SEE THE FULL INTERVIEW BELOW
Jordan also answers a couple of listener questions this week, including which festival is better, Turkeyfest or Come and Take It? Hear his answer at the end of his interview. If you would like to ask Jordan a question you can email me at or comment in the comments of this Facebook status.  You can hear Texas Longhorn Football on our sister station, KLUB Classic Rock 1069.
