Cuero’s Christmas in the Park Opens on Monday
Cuero's Christmas in the Park is back! The park will open up for the season on Monday, November 23rd, and will run through New Year's Day. Park hours will be nightly from 6:00 PM through 10:00 PM.
Cuero's Christmas in the Park has become a Holiday favorite in the Crossroads! Recent awards include the Cuero Record’s “Best of DeWitt County Readers’ Choice 2020” Award for Best Holiday Event and Victoria Advocate's “Best of the Best” 2020 Awards for Best Festival and Best Holiday Event.
Some of the regularly scheduled events will not happen this year such as Hot Chocolate NIghts and the Live Nativity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Get more information about Cuero's Christmas in the Park by clicking here.
Cuero's Christmas in the Park had humble beginnings in the year 2000 with the lighting of the Gazebo and the rest is history. It has grown to over 250 displays, with all displays being converted to LED lighting back in 2018. Converting to LEDs has the dual benefit of conserving electricity as well as significantly reducing the need to change bulbs on a yearly basis.
Did you know you could order a scene in the park?
Orders are taken for new scenes following the conclusion of the holiday season, generally between mid-January and the beginning of March each year, when we receive the greatest discounts from the vendors. To order a scene, or for more information, please contact Samantha Bayfus at the Cuero Development Corporation at (361) 275-8178 or ssolis@cityofcuero.com.
