Crossroads Expect A Cold Front Wednesday and a Cool Halloween
Wednesday morning grab your raincoat, your umbrella, AND a sweatshirt before you head out!
Finally, we get a break from all of this heat!
After almost a week of blistering temperatures in the high 80's (fine, I might be a little bit dramatic) the Crossroads is finally going to get a little bit of Fall back y'all. And speaking of falling back, don't forget to set your clocks back in two weeks on November 7th for Daylight Savings Time, and come on, who doesn't just love Daylight Saving?
The weather this week.
You are looking at a high today, Tuesday 10/27 of about drum roll, please...90 degrees again with a low Tuesday night about 75 degrees. Sigh, again.
But Wednesday it gets interesting!
We're looking at thunderstorms in the morning from about 5 am to 10 am and cooler temperatures by 8 pm dropping into the '60s. These thunderstorms are offering us a 90 % chance of rain in the morning, with sunshine later in the day. Keep in mind, with cold front wind gusts in the afternoon reaching up to 40 mph.
Gotta love Texas weather.
So Wednesday, in a nutshell, it looks like it's going to be hot, cold, sunny and raining, windy and still, and all of this on the same day. Do you know what they say about the weather in Texas? If you don't like it, wait 20 minutes. Case in point? Wednesday!
What about Halloween weather?
Friday the 29th you can expect cooler evenings potentially dropping down into the 40s. Saturday the 30th looks about the same, and Sunday night, Hallow's Eve, you can expect a cool holiday literally. Highs in the 80s during the day and by dusk, when all the hungry goblins come out to trick or treat, it's predicted to be about 59 degrees.
Those thicker Halloween costumes will be really handy this Halloween!
Stay dry Victoria and stay safe!
