Crossroads Church Seeks Food Donations to Help Families This Christmas

This is the season of giving and there are a myriad of ways the Crossroads community to band together in the spirit of Christmas.

You can donate toys to Toys for Tots, you can make a financial contribution to end of year non-profits like Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity.

But what if a family can't even concern themselves with toys or contributions because they don't even have enough to eat.

You might be surprised to know that there are families right here in our community who are struggling just to get food on the table. You can help with that too.

Help support our friends at Our Savior's Lutheran Church by contributing to their food pantry. Our Savior's is looking to restock their pantry in time for the holidays and simple items like peanut butter and pasta are needed.

Canned foods are always appreciated as well.

Your generosity will make a huge difference in the life of a struggling family and no staple food item will be turned away, however, Our Savior's Lutheran Church does have some specific food items that they would like to see stocked in their pantry.

You can drop off your donations right here at the radio station at 107 North Star Drive on Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm now through the end of the year.

Please take a moment to scour your pantry or make taking the family to the grocery store to buy much needed items as a way to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas. 

It's hard to imagine there are families in our neighborhood that do not have food on your table during the holidays. 

You can help insure they get a good meal this Christmas.
