Starting March 25, the flow of traffic in the Crestwood Drive construction area will change from westbound-only to eastbound-only (that is, from Main Street to Navarro Street) as traffic shifts onto the newly paved concrete south lane and construction moves to the north lane.

Although the switch is scheduled to take place on March 25, delays are possible based on weather and other factors. Motorists should stay alert and obey all signs and barricades posted in the work zone.

The flow of traffic is changing because of safety concerns related to the railroad crossing on Crestwood Drive. Because railroad crossing arms only extend halfway across the road, the arms would not be able to block vehicles traveling westbound in the south lane.

Crestwood Drive is expected to reopen in August.

We will file this under things that you will only see in Texas! In Texas, Everything is Better, including pregnancy announcements.  The photos were posted to social media by Pop of Color Images in San Antonio, be sure you visit their website. Pictured are Zoey Medley and Jacob Alvarado from San Antonio and their story is so sweet!

Jacob has worked at the HEB Warehouse in San Antonio for the past 11 years. When Zoey found out she was pregnant she came up with the idea to do a pregnancy announcement at HEB. She wanted to include HEB products in the shoot as well as a PREGO jar. The results are fabulous! Congratulations Zoey and Jacob!  Click below to take a look at all the photos from the shoot.
