Let us not waste time discussing what constitutes as fun weekend activities and get straight to drink recipes.

Jam cocktail

Black Berry Jam Cocktail (original source)
¾ c Lime Juice (fresh)
¾ c Blackberry Jam
2 c Gin
1 (12oz) can Club Soda
1 c Fresh Mint
Garnish – Lime Slice
How To:
In a large pitcher with ice, whisk together the blackberry jam and lime juice until the jam is dissolved. Then, while stirring, add the gin, club soda, mint and lime slice. Don’t be greedy, there is enough to share so I strongly recommend you do so. This is NOT a solo drink challenge.

Sunrise Drink

Rum Sunrise (original source)
12 oz Orange Juice
3 oz Light Rum
2 tbsp Grenadine
Garnish – Lime slices
How To:
Start by combining the orange juice and rum together and stir. Then pour out a third of the mixture into a separate glass and set that aside…for now. Then pour the rest of the mixture into an ice filled glass. Combine the 1/3 of the orange juice/rum mixture with the grenadine and slowly pour that down the inside of the glass (the one with the orange juice/rum mixture in it) so it looks like a sunrise color. And finally, garnish with a lime slice.

(Welp...they were tasty. That's all I can say)

Vodka Pink Lemonade Slushies (original source)
5 Lemons (cut in half, longways)
1/3 c Vodka (your choice of flavor, but I recommend regular…if that’s a thing)
1 c Pink Lemonade
2 c Ice
10 mint sprigs
How To:
Scoop out the “guts” of the lemon halves (leaving the peel intake) and add those to a blender along with the vodka, pink lemonade and ice. Blend the ingredients until they are nice and smooth and then add a scoop of the mixture into each hollow lemon peel slice and garnish each with a mint sprig. Since there are 10 of these, you are left with a considerable choice; Do you share the immense spread or hoard it for yourself? Your choice.

Rose Sangria

Rosé Sangria Floats (original source)
1 pint Talenti Roman Raspberry Sorbet
¾ c Vodka
1 c Sparkling Rosé
Garnish – Fresh Berries (Raspberries/Blue Berries/Any Berry you deem acceptable)
How To:
Put a scoop of Sorbet into a glass and pour on top the vodka and Sparkling Rosé. Finalize the concoction by garnishing with the berries.

All, if not most, of these drink ingredients can be found at your local liquor store. Keep in mind that the summer heat is unforgiving and you need to make sure to drink plenty of water to keep hydrated and cool. Townsquare Media and KIXS 108 do not condone underage drinking and encourage you to drink responsibly. Have a safe and fun weekend!
