Summertime is still going strong and provided below are some really fun and really easy to make (well, that kinda depends on what you consider easy and challenging in terms of drink mixing). As always, stay cool and hydrated this summer to avoid any heat health issues and drink responsibly. And now for some Sunday Summer Drink Mixing Fun!
Layered Lemonade Drops (original source)
6 oz Vodka (divided)
3 c Lemonade (divided)
2 c Frozen Mango (divided)
3 c Ice (divided)
2 c Strawberries (chopped)
Garnish – Lemon Slices, Strawberries
This is a layered drink and so you are going to need to either have three blenders ready or be ready to quick clean a blender a couple of times.
First layer – In a blender add 2 c Frozen Mango, 2 oz of Vodka, 1 c Lemonade and 1 cup Ice and blend until smooth and then bag and freeze the mixture.
Second Layer – In a blender add 2 c chopped strawberries, 2 oz Vodka, 1 c Lemonade and I c Ice. Blend the ingredients until smooth and then bag and freeze the mixture.
Third Layer – In a blender add 2 oz Vodka, 1 c Lemonade and 1 c Ice and blend until smooth. Then bag and freeze the mixture.
Now we are going to layer the glass, and feel free to use several glasses and share. First layer is the mango mixture, second layer is the strawberry mixture and the third layer is the last mixture. After the glasses are filled, garnish the drink with lemon slices and strawberries.
(Oh, No! Someone drank all the ones I had prepared for you)
