A shout out to the East Titans, showcasing their school spirit this past Friday morning.  In the studio, we had Kora,Kennedy,Sierra,Trey,Chance,Laurynn, and Jalyn!  Of course shared a couple of cheers on air and did a great job.  The football players ensured victory, and you know what they delivered in a BIG way defeating Corpus Christi Miller 73-14...

Week 6 of Friday Night Lights in the books, only one Victoria school emerged victorious.  The East Titans easily handle  CC Miller 73-14.  The STJ Flyers lose in district to Austin Regents 13-34  and the West Warriors drop one to Callalen 24-41...

As most of you know I am your morning DJ during the week, but what some of you don't know is I am a private  DJ on the weekend.  This past weekend I had the pleasure of providing DJ services for the Bloomington Bobcats Homecoming!  As many of you know that Bloomington is a small school located in Victoria County, but is it's own school districat (BISD)...

This morning the Bloomington Bobcats were loud and proud as we continue support school spirit here at KIXS 108! From left to right we have Rebekah, Shawntelle, Clara, Dulce, and DeMarcus.  This was a fun bunch of kids as they pumped up their Bobcats fans for the big Homecoming game Friday at 730 versus Pettus at Bobcat Stadium...

This coming week on the morning show, we will start showing some school spirit.  We invited four area schools having homecoming this week, three have confirmed!  So catch your school loud and proud this week!  On Wednesday it's the Calhoun Sandcrabs, Thursday it's the Bloomington Bobcats, and Friday it's the Cuero Gobblers...

If you haven't heard or don't know me I am a huge High School Football fan!  So this year on my show I will invite area schools on air to show school spirit and try to bring spirit  back to the student body.  It is safe to say school spirit is nowhere near where it used to be...

During football season I will highlight one athlete every week and bring them on the morning show.  I will also invite the local school's cheer and spirit squad during their homecoming week so they can represent their schools loud and proud on the country leader in South Texas KIXS 108...

It is that time of year again HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL, and the season starts next week. Two of the three high schools open their season at home with the exception for East, they open Thursday night at San Antonio Kennedy.  The West Warriors will host San Antonio Southwest next Friday night at Memorial Stadium...
