Powerball mania is over, at least for now! There were two winning tickets that matched all the Powerball numbers from Saturday night's drawing - one sold in Texas and one in Missouri. They will split an estimated $1.787 billion jackpot. The winning ticket from Texas was sold in Fredericksburg. This is the first-ever Texas winner for any Powerball top prize. This was the second-largest jackpot ever won in U.S. history.

Winners have two payout options for Powerball.

According to the Powerball website, each player will get the choice of an annuitized prize of $893.5 million. The second choice will be the one-time payment of 410.3 million. Both of these options are before taxes. The winner in Texas selected the one-time cash option.  The Powerball jackpot has reset to $20 million for the next drawing.

Another $2 million winning ticket was sold in Kansas. Another 18 winning tickets were scattered across the US, worth $1 million. Those tickets matched all the white balls without Power Play.
