You would think that living so close to Houston it would be easy to catch the Astros' on TV in Victoria. That would be false, AT&T SportsNet Southwest is not available on all providers. FUBO TV might be your best bet. They have access to many other sports networks as well.
The Houston Astros will have their home opener on Thursday, April 8th for a weekend 3-game series with the Oakland Athletics. That will be followed by a 3-game series with the Detroit Tigers starting on Monday, April 12th. All three games of the Tiger's series will feature a Justin Verlander Cy-Young bobblehead. While we will miss Verlander this year, who will be out recovering from Tommy John's surgery. Recovery time for Tommy John surgery is usually 12 to 14 months, so Verlander is still expected to miss most, if not all, of this upcoming season with the Astros. However, I believe the Astros pitching rotation is still very strong. LETS GO ASTROS'!
