Here is one of the districts that has recently gone a 4-day week.

Well, not for the entire year.

According to My San Antonio, students will be going to be in school Monday through Thursday during the second and fourth grading periods, and the full five days during the first and third grading periods. Why a 4 day school-week?

Many districts are hoping a shorter school week will improve attendance, and in turn, improve achievement! Districts propose the four-day instructional week and will use the fifth day for teachers to complete some of those additional tasks.

@kindergartenthoughts Have you seen any schools with the 4 day school week? Would you like that schedule? #schoolnews #4dayschool #4dayschoolweek #4dayweek #schoolnews #parentsoftiktok #teachersoftiktok ♬ original sound - Lauren Paige
