Advocate Essay Contest

If you like to write and recall a favorite summer vacation, we want to hear from you. The Victoria Advocate, in conjunction with Regal Jewelers, is featuring a new monthly essay contest. The winner each month will get a $100 gift card to Regal Jewelers.

July's contest features the subject "Best summer vacation." Essays must be fewer than 250 words to qualify. To enter, email your essay to newsroom@vicad.com. In email subject line, put, "Regal Essay Contest entry." Deadline to enter is 5 p.m. Friday.
