4th of July in Jackson County

They are going to do it up right outside of Edna this 4th of July weekend! The Jackson County Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Brackenridge Park and Campground, 891 Brackenridge Parkway. Admission is free. The display will cap off a day of events, which include the Antique Tractor Show, Kiddie Tractor Pull and shaved ice. The Victoria Advocate reports free parking will be available at the grassy field across from Hafernick Center.
