It's the one aspect of multitasking we've yet to master.

You know what we're talking about, right? Walking and using a cell phone. It's a no-win for anybody. You run the risk of veering off the sidewalk and getting hit by a bus while you're texting your friends important news like "LOL" and "OMG."

The other people on the sidewalk, meanwhile, are left to jump out of the way because it's their responsibility to let you keep walking in a straight line with no regard while you focus more on your screen than the other pedestrians who have the audacity to pay attention to their surroundings.

This man in Israel appears to have solved the problem by strolling down the sidewalk with a cane like someone who's blind. We're not sure it's an end-all solution to this issue, but at least it's a step (without bumping into someone else) in the right direction.
