The Victoria Symphony Orchestra is celebrating its 40th anniversary season. The symphony's season will include five Master Series performances each at the Victoria Fine Arts Center, says the Victoria Advocate.

"This coming season marks 40 years of the world's greatest music performed live right here in Victoria. Such a red-letter season as this has to be one that presents great music, great artists and great variety," said music director Darryl One, in a Symphony news release.

Entertainment includes music for all ages and genres of music this year with performances from big names such as Aaron Neville and Wynonna Judd.
The season will also mark the second of a three-year series called "The Bradenburg Project," which examines and performs all six Bradenburg concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach.
