Victoria Library Book Sale Begins Today

Clear off space on the book shelf - it's time for the Friends of the Library End of Summer Book Sale. Books for all ages will be on sale, from children's books to textbooks, as well as music and movies. All proceeds from the sale are used to purchase books and other materials for the Victoria Public Library as well as assistance for reading programs and enrichment programs.

The sale will take over the Bronte Room inside the Victoria Public Library, 302 N. Main St., from Monday through Sept 14. Friends of the Library members can attend the presale from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. During the week, the sale will be open during the library's normal hours and until noon Saturday. On the final day of the sale, all the remaining books will be on sale for half the regular price and will have the $1 bag of books special.
