Victoria Generals to Host ‘Purple Out’

Senior Helpers and the Victoria Generals are teaming up to host Purple out the Park at Riverside Stadium on Thursday in support of the fight against Alzheimer's disease. A pregame tailgate party is set for 6 p.m. with free beer and barbecue. Activities include fun for the kids with Ziggy the Clown and music by DJ Big Drew. attendees are encouraged to wear purple to show support.

Tickets are $6. The Victoria Generals will donate 50 percent of ticket and concession proceeds to the Alzheimer's Association promoting the Walk to End Alzheimer's on Oct. 18.
