The Victoria 'Empty Bowls Project' will be Sunday starting at 11am at the Victoria College Student Center, 2200 E. Red River Street in Victoria. Handcrafted bowls made by current and former VC art students, Victoria East High School students and area potters will sell for $15, which will entitle attendees to a bowl of soup, bread and a drink. Several  ceramicists from across the state will be exhibiting and selling their wares in VC’s Fine Arts Building. Demonstrations on raku-firing and throwing will also be held there, and folks will have their own chance to ‘throw’ at the Bash-a-Bowl.  Area restaurants and caterers are participating in this year’s Empty Bowls project, which includes a silent auction and Jerry James performing live music.
