If you love golf like I do, you have a golden opportunity to play all 3 of Victoria's beautiful golf courses this Memorial Day weekend and compete for the coveted 'city championship'.

Golf lovers can play on three different courses - Victoria Country Club, Colony Creek Country Club, and Riverside Golf Course. There will be divisions for men, women and junior players vying for the prize. The event is open to anyone who resides in Victoria County. Claud Jacobs said the weekend-long tournament is a unique opportunity for golfers to play on different courses with different competitors and having fun while doing so. "Golf has a way of bringing people together," he said.

The entry deadline is 3 p.m. today. The actual tournament takes place at 8 a.m. Saturday through Monday at the Victoria Country Club, Colony Creek C.C. and Riverside Golf Course. Registration is $100 per person for adults; $60 per person for juniors, (dinner is not included).
