Though the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill are still moving across Texas, the primary danger to Victoria County has passed.

  • Wind gusts of 39mph were recorded at the Victoria Regional Airport with a gust of 54mph recorded at Port O’Connor.
  • Rains associated from Tropical Storm Bill will fall in the Victoria area the rest of today. Between 2-4 inches are expected, heavy rains are possible.
  • A flash flood watch remains in effect in the Victoria area until midnight on Wednesday.
  • The Guadalupe River forecast has been lowered to a crest of 25.1 feet to pass through Victoria late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
