I guess if you're going to have to inform parents that school is going to be closed--again--due to snow and ice, you might as well try to inject a little humor into the announcement. That's just what happened recently in Boone County, Kentucky! You'll want to see and share this video!

As reported by Mary Kate Gaffney at KLTV.com:

Stephens Elementary School Principal Jim Detwiler and drama teacher Chad Caddell decided to tell Boone County parents that school was closed in a theatrical way.

The hilarious video shows Detwiler and Caddell record a call to parents but it wasn't your typical school closings call. Caddell and Detwiler break out in song, hoping to make the parents laugh and they succeeded!

The two school officials "borrowed" a bit of Queen's rock classic, "Bohemian Rhapsody," to let parents know there would be no school that day. Check out the video here:KLTV.com-Tyler, Longview, Jacksonville, Texas | ETX News

Although their vocal skills might rate a "B-" or "C," these guys definitely get an "A" for effort and creativity!
