Memorial for Peace Officers Scheduled

The Victoria Police Department and the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office, along with other area law enforcement agencies, will honor those who have died in the line of duty with a memorial service Wednesday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in DeLeon Plaza, downtown Victoria.

The ceremony will include reading of a City Proclamation and a County Resolution, memorial presentation, reading of the roll call of fallen Texas Officers, and the placement of a memorial wreath. The public is invited to attend.
