“Lone Survivor” Author to Visit Victoria

Marcus Luttrell, author of “Lone Survivor” who appears as an extra in the current popular movie of the same name, is coming to Victoria.

Luttrell will be the keynote speaker May 10 at the Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity “Speaking of Sweat Equity” series at the Victoria Fine Arts Center. “We are honored and thrilled to have Marcus coming to Victoria,” Cindy Staley, Habitat executive director, told the Victoria Advocate. Staley said veterans and their families will get first crack at tickets in mid-February, and tickets will go on sale to the general public in mid-March.
