How Was YOUR New Year’s?

How did you ring out 2013 and ring in 2014? A party? Did you go out to a local nightclub and celebrate with friends? Or, perhaps you avoided the crowds, stayed home, and watched the big ball in New York City (or the big Moon Pie in Mobile, AL) drop?

However you celebrated, I hope it was fun. I was invited to a party/jam session at a ranch in Seadrift by a couple of the folks who play at the Crossroads Country Opry, so my wife Sweetie and I spent a pleasant evening, with me playing drums and singing a few old Country tunes, and accompanying the other folks who were there; many brought guitars, and there was even a mandolin brought in. It was fun. Wish you could’ve been there. Happy 2014!
