Goliad Historical Commission to Host Lecture

The Goliad County Historical Commission will be hosting a free event featuring a lecture by author Gary Brown, who will be speaking on the topic of his upcoming book about the numerous historic bells of Goliad. Brown is the author of several books covering different aspects of Texas history, including the story of the New Orleans Greys and a biography of J.W. Fannin, says the Victoria Advocate.

Make plans to attend this upcoming event at the Fannin Battleground, 734 Farm-to-Market Road 2506 in Fannin, at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Light refreshments will be provided by the Goliad County Historical Commission.
