Country Artists Touched By Death Of Whitney Houston

Talent is talent. It doesn’t matter how you catergorize music and performers, there are a few singers that exude talent in a way others can’t. There is no denying Whitney Houston was one of the most talented singers to ever grace a stage. We at KIXS 108, along with all of country music, are saddened by her passing.
Miranda Lambert and husband Blake Shelton attended the Clive Davis party, held hours after Whitney Houston’s death. According to CMT Daily Roundup, Miranda was among others in the industry, including rapper Diddy, who talked to the crowd about the superstar’s death. Miranda told guests, “I’ve experienced some personal losses in the last few weeks and I know how painful it is.” Several country artists also took to Twitter to express their grief over the loss of a music icon. Here are a few:
