Construction on Navarro

If you use Navarro or Mockingbird, try to find an alternate route things might get a little messy.  The below is from the  City of Victoria, Public Works......

Motorists traveling along one of the busiest areas of the City will experience delays and lane reductions starting Friday, June 5 when City of Victoria crews and contractors repair a collapsed sanitary sewer main at the intersection of North Navarro Street and Mockingbird Lane. The repair work will affect traffic in this area for 7 days, weather permitting.

On Friday morning, the City will reduce southbound traffic on North Navarro Street to one lane at the Mockingbird intersection.

Westbound traffic on Mockingbird Lane will not be allowed to cross through the intersection at North Navarro and will be required to turn north or south at the intersection.

The City will reduce the eastbound traffic on Mockingbird Lane to one lane at the North Navarro intersection and traffic will be required to continue east through the intersection or turn south on to North Navarro.  No left turns to the north on Navarro will be allowed.

All businesses and residences in the construction zone will remain open and accessible. Through-traffic can avoid delays in the work zone by seeking alternate routes.
