The Claud Jacobs Collegiate Invitational field features some of the best teams in the country. 10 of the 15 women teams are currently ranked or are receiving votes in the 2015 NAIA Preseason Coaches' Poll. On the men's side, five of the 15 teams are ranked inside the top 10. "We should have two of the best fields of any tournament hosted by an NAIA team this year," UHV golf coach Brian Williamson said in a press release to the Victoria Advocate. "When you have over two-thirds of the field ranked on both sides that should make for some great golf, great competition and a great tournament."

Oklahoma City, which won both the men and women events last year, returns to defend its titles.

The third annual Claud Jacobs Collegiate Invitational is scheduled for Feb. 14 with a College-Am starting at 12:30 p.m. at Victoria Country Club and The Club at Colony Creek. The collegiate tournament starts Feb. 15 and will see both fields play 36 holes. The men will start at Victoria Country Club, and the women at The Club at Colony Creek.
