Victoria Crime Stoppers needs your help. At 9:16 p.m. on July 28, officers responded to the 1500 block of E. Rio Grande in reference to a robbery. Employees at the location stated that an older white male entered the location and started to order food. He then handed the cashier a plastic bag, displayed a handgun and demanded that the clerk place the money into the bag.

Joe Mendez has an outstanding warrant charging him with violation of probation in a possession of dangerous drugs case. He also has warrants charging him with possession of marijuana and evading arrest in a vehicle.

Between July 1 and July 11 the Victoria Police Department responded to a rash of burglaries where the entire cash registers were taken from the businesses. Detectives need your help to identify the offender.

The Victoria Police Department's Motor Vehicle Theft Unit is looking for the people who are responsible for stealing a travel trailer. At 4:41 p.m. July 6th, a brown two-tone 1990s model Chevrolet extended cab long bed pickup was seen leaving a storage facility in the 4800 block of Guy Grant Road.

On Feb. 13, an unidentified man picked up an undisclosed amount of money from Western Union inside H-E-B Plus. This money was scammed from a woman in Arizona. The unknown offender contacted the victim, stating she won the Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes and requested she send money via Western Union to pay the taxes on her winnings.

At 5:25 a.m. March 17, officers with the Victoria Police Department responded to the 3800 block of North Laurent Street in reference to an alarm. A check of the location revealed three subjects entered the location and rummaged through shelves and cabinets.

Last week, Victoria Police answered a call about an unidentified person found dead in the 800 block of South East Street. Police have since identified this person as 52 year old Deanna Faye Pagel. Pagel was also known as 'White Girl Faye"...

The Victoria County Sheriff's Office and Victoria Crime Stoppers need your help to bring John Stanley Earl Jr. home. On June 15, 2012, 6-year-old John Stanley Earl Jr. was kidnapped by his non custodial mother, Maria Teresa Earl, now 52. Earl lost custody of the young boy because of abuse but fled before officers could remove John from her home.
