The Jackson County Youth Fair begins next Saturday, October 3rd at the Brackenridge Main Events Center, 284 Brackenridge Parkway, just outside of Edna. Daily admission is $5 for adults and children 6 and up, 5 and under are free.

The 14th Annual Texana Chili Spill will be held November 6-8 at the Brackenridge Recreation Complex Main Event Center, sponsored by the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority and the Jackson County Go-Texan Committee. This year’s event will include a Veterans Ceremony, an Appreciation Dinner, and a fireworks display on Thursday, November 7 beginning at 5:00 p.m.
