This morning I had Joel Nava join me on air.  He will be the first act to take the Coors Light Main Stage on Friday night at Bootfest!  He takes the stage around 6:15!  He is no stranger to being on stage.  He really busted out on the scene in the early 90s, his first album boasted airplay on nation-wide country radio...

Grammy-winner Kacey Musgraves returned to East Texas for her first-ever Hometown Hang on Sept. 26, and turned her hometown(s) of Mineola (and Golden, too!) on its head.

Jake Owen has joined Kenny Chesney as a 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival headliner. The three-day camping and country music festival is set for June 10-12 in Hunter, N.Y., and tickets and VIP packages are on sale now.

The Refugio Country Opry is Thursday night at 7pm at the Expo Center at the Refugio County Fairgrounds. It's a live music show featuring the Opry band, "The Best of the Best", with special guest Nikki Vincent of Prairie Lee; Jaycee Barns of Victoria; and April & Jason Hall and Ashlynn from Floresville.

It was just over a year ago that George Strait wrapped his Cowboy Rides Away Tour in Arlington to put an end to his days on the road; but he did it with the promise of more music, and yes, more concerts. Today the King of Country Music made good on his promise.
