It's not quite the same as being on the Titanic as it went down, but people stuck in a massive traffic jam got their own impromptu concert.

Sunday at 3:30pm, join the Hot Attacks at Victoria Residence and Rehab, 114 Medical Drive in Victoria, for an afternoon of good time tunes with some really awesome folks! The Hot Attacks are proud to provide entertainment for those who don't have the opportunity to get out and about, at the "Happy Hour" style setting Victoria Residence and Rehab has created for their residents.

The 'Flag City Opry' Show starts at 7pm Tuesday night at 411 N. Wells Street in Edna. Performers for the show include Tony Booth - Alvin, Texas... Rhonda Walters Humble, Texas... Robert Appel - Austin, Texas...and The Flag City Opry Band. Tickets for the show are $5.

Monday night is 'Music Night' at the HOG featuring JD Wellfed & Mark Jungers at the Hallet Oak Gallery, 115 N. Main Street in Hallettsville from 7 to 9 p.m. J.D. Wellfed (John Reeves) of Sweet Home will lead the first in a series of musical evenings at the Hallet Oak Gallery.

Travis Tritt will be in Victoria to perform a fundraising concert to benefit the Victoria Symphony on Thursday, Sept. 10 at the Victoria Fine Arts Center beginning at 8 p.m. A Marietta, Ga. native, Travis Tritt is dubbed one of “The Class of ‘89,” which included Country music superstars Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson; all of whom dominated the charts in the early ‘90s.

Dierks Bentley is ready to ride after announcing his 10th annual Miles and Music for Kids motorcycle ride and concert. The event benefits the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and will take place Nov. 1 at Nashville’s new Ascend Amphitheater.
