Baseball is in the air! The UHV Jaguars have been at it , Major League Baseball is just 2 weeks away and, the Victoria Generals are gearing up for the 2015 campaign that starts in May. Now the Generals are making moves to help them in another run for the Texas collegiate league Championship with the addition of 5 former players from around the Lone Star State.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson, will be returning to the Texas Rangers camp on March 28th when the team gets ready to play an exhibition game.

STX Drillers 14u baseball team has 2 spots available for 2015 spring season.  They are also holding tryout for a 9u Team.  Tryouts will be Saturday starting at noon at CWV Baseball Fields on Smith Road in Victoria.

News Release... 2/3/15---As the 2015 Texas Collegiate League season draws near, the Victoria Generals continue to add players that will help them on their quest for another league championship.  This week, the Generals have announced the addition of four players from The University of Texas at San Antonio. The "Tyler Bludau Memorial" elementary and junior high baseball camp will be at the high school field in Hallettsville Saturday starting at 8am.

Victoria Little League baseball will continue to hold registration at Victoria Mall on Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All zones will be represented. Please bring three proofs of residency and the player's original birth certificate.

There will ba a four-person shamble with buffet dinner at Colony Creek Golf Course to benefit UHV Baseball. A Hot Stove Lounge and question and answer session with UHV head coach Terry Puhl will follow dinner, along with a silent auction.
