Statistics for the Week: Was named the Association of Independent Institution Conference Co-Male Athlete of the Week for Feb. 9-15. The junior hit his first collegiate grand slam and helped the Jaguars to a 4-1 record on the week. He tied a UHV single-game record with seven RBI in a Game 3 win over Texas College as he went 3-for-4 with a home run. On the week, he compiled a .611 batting average going 11-for-18 with 11 RBI, seven runs, two home runs, a .944 slugging percentage and a .652 on-base percentage.

What advice would you give to a younger player about the sport you are involved in that would help them improve? Enjoy the game, never give up and work hard. Never let someone tell you that you can’t do something.

What is you background and experience in the sport you participate in? Have played Weimar Little League, Babe Ruth for Weimar Tri-County and have played in Canada.
