Why is Dak Not in the 2021 Cowboys Hype Video
In an article posted at dallasnews.com, Dak Prescott seems to be missing from the 2021 Dallas Cowboys hype video. One day after Tom Brady wins his 7th Super Bowl ring, the Dallas Cowboys have released their 2021 hype video with one notable execption...No Dak Prescott! Zeke, Michael Gallup, Jaylon Smith, CeeDee Lamb, Dalton Schultz, DeMarcus Lawrence, Cooper, and even Kellen Moore got some screen time. Take a look at the video.
I mean you show Moore instead of Prescott. Really! Maybe people are jumping to a conclusion prematurely or should we be concerned that Prescott hasn’t come to terms on a long-term contract.
Prescott is scheduled to earn $37.6 million if he’s franchised for a second consecutive year. The franchise tag would keep Prescott with the Cowboys, at least for the 2021 season. The Dallas Cowboys could also opt to trade Dak or rescind the tag.
Dak Prescott only played 5 games during the 2020 season before the season-ending injury during week 5 against the New York Giants. In that short time, he was 151-222 with 1856 yards with 9 touchdowns. Not bad for a 5 game stretch.
So while the Dallas Cowboys faithful await Prescott and the Cowboys final decision. Does this video mean the beginning of the end or this is a non-issue?
The Dallas Cowboys will open the 2021 season on September 13th a Sunday night game. They will be on the road as they take on the LA Rams.
