Today, November 8th 2022  marks the day, when millions of Americans will vote in the general mid term election.

If you live in Victoria County and have questions about voting today, we are here to help along with the VCTX Administration Offices.

One of the greatest resources we have in Victoria County when it comes to all things voting is the VCTX, or Victoria County Texas Elections office. Perusing their website, you can find tons of great information on FAQ's, upcoming elections and maybe most importantly, election results.

If you plan to vote today, and we hope you do, a quick refence to the VCTX website, which you can view here is recommended.

Looking for where to vote in your precinct?

You can find the entire list by clicking here, thanks to VCTX.

One of the biggest questions VCTX Elections gets asked is whether you, the voter, are required to have your voter registration card with you to vote?

The answer might surprise you!

According to Victoria County Elections;
No, you do not need your voter registration card to vote. However, you must provide some form of photo identification.

A form of photographic identification; don't leave home to vote without it!

Acceptable forms of photo identification include; Texas Driver License issued by the Department of Public Safety, Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS; Texas Personal Identification Card issued by DPS, Texas Handgun License issued by DPS, United States Military Identification Card containing the person’s photograph, United States Citizenship Certificate containing the person’s photograph; or a United States Passport.

Voting starts at 7am this morning and ends at 7pm tonight.

If you need additional help, you are welcome to call VCTX at 361-576-0124.
