One of the biggest questions VCTX Elections gets asked is whether you, the voter, are required to have your voter registration card with you to vote?
The answer might surprise you!
According to Victoria County Elections;
No, you do not need your voter registration card to vote. However, you must provide some form of photo identification.
A form of photographic identification; don't leave home to vote without it!
Acceptable forms of photo identification include; Texas Driver License issued by the Department of Public Safety, Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS; Texas Personal Identification Card issued by DPS, Texas Handgun License issued by DPS, United States Military Identification Card containing the person’s photograph, United States Citizenship Certificate containing the person’s photograph; or a United States Passport.
Voting starts at 7am this morning and ends at 7pm tonight.
