UPDATE: Two TX Kids Beat And Stab Their Mother Putting Her In The Hospital

UPDATE: New information out on this story. The 16-year-old is actually a female. Both children appeared in juvenile court - the sister on Zoom along with their mother- via Zoom as well. According to sources the 12-year-old brother whose birthday was the same night as the incident had previously reported abuse from his mother to his school.

Brother and sister remain in custody.

Two Texas brothers ages 12 and 16 are facing pending charges after beating and stabbing their mother putting her in the hospital. She is currently listed in critical condition.

Here is what we know.

After the boys allegedly beat and stabbed their mother, the 12-year-old fled the house while the 16-year-old stayed behind. The mother was able to call 911.

She was able to get medical assistance and was rushed to the hospital while San Antonio officers arrived and tried to piece the incident together. According to KSAT 12 "Officers say she was not able to tell them much about what led up to the attack."

Police, however, were able to determine that her two sons were suspects.

Comments started pouring in when the news was posted on KSAT 12 this morning.

Here are a few of the widely varied comments made by Texas community members about the incident, even without all of the details, which gives us a pretty good sense that when it comes to stories such as these, we have already formulated an opinion on the matter.

Both boys have been placed in custody.

There aren't many details at this time other than the incident occurring this morning on the West in San Antonio at about 5 am today and that the 12-year-old who fled was located. At this time both boys had been placed in custody.
