THROWBACK THURSDAY: Victoria’s Movie Shoppe Video Store
It's time to take it back to the simpler days of renting videos at a video store. It was the perfect way to begin the weekend on a Friday night. In Victoria, of course, you had all the big box places such as Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Albertsons, and Hastings. Yes, I said Albertsons.
There were many local video stores in Victoria.
However, Victoria was home to many local video stores such as Video Gallery and the one off of Upper Mission Valley Road, I can't remember its name, if you know, please let me know via the app.

My personal favorite was The Movie Shoppe on Airline! That was the spot! With that being said, I probably had fines for many of the above-mentioned. Oh yeah, I probably still owe money to Columbia House too.
So many rooms, including the one behind the curtain.
The Movie Shoppe was so successful during its run that it had to add another room to the building. Each room was designated to a different category, such as New Releases, Horror, and Comedy. It also had that room behind the curtain with the beads on it. Don't forget to be kind and rewind.
