Don’t Miss the Great Texas 0.5K Derby Dash for Habitat

Get ready to giddy up for a great cause!

On Thursday May 1st right here in the Crossroads the world's first 0.5k Derby Dash for Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity will be happening at 7pm at Aero Crafters and you do not want to miss this!

Just check out Aero Crafter owner, Mark warming up the track for the big race!

For just $10 you get to lace up and giddy up to help build homes for hard working families in the Crossroads community.

Arguable the best part? You get to keep the horse! Sure it's a blow up Hobby horse, but it's still your stallion and a terrific reminder that you care. It's also a reminder that even if you don't have the stamina for a 5K run in your immediate future, you can handle a 0.5K ANYDAY!

So how does this work?

Easy! You just show up before 7pm at Aero Crafters located at 309 E Crestwood and for a ten dollar donation you get to pick your blow up hobby horse and run around the cornhole field. Yep, it's a .05k so you're only running for about half a minute.

When you register, you are instantly entered into a drawing for a family of four trail ride at Grace Ranch Western Riding and Rodeo School located at US77.

What's happening after the race?

Enjoy great food and a new cocktail menu after the race all while listening to up and coming country music artist Charlie Alstrom who is volunteering his time and talent to help support Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity too.

100 percent of your registration will go directly to the growing list of hard working families in our community who make to much money for government assistance but still struggle to make ends meet.
