A video has started to circulate on social media showing a snake catching a catfish at the San Antonio River. Also in the video is a turtle that could not be bothered. This would appear to be a very rare three-animal encounter. You can file this under "things that will only happen in Texas."
@rivercitynewssa Wild San Antonio moment: snake drags a catfish while a turtle watches nearby in the King William district. A rare three-animal encounter caught on camera. #SanAntonio#SanAntonioNews#SATX#SouthTexas#TexasNews♬ original sound - RiverCityNewsSA
According to the video posted to TikTok by rivercitynewssa, this took place in the King Williams District in downtown San Antonio. It is located just a few blocks south of the main tourist hub in downtown San Antonio. However, it does offer some excellent dining choices, not that I would know that information.

The San Antonio Riverwalk is so peaceful outside of the tourist area.

As the San Antonio River flows south of the main riverwalk, it goes through the neighborhood area of the historic King Williams District.  It is an absolutely beautiful place to take a relaxing walk while not having to worry about the massive crowds. I have personally explored this area and recommend you take some extra time to enjoy this vibe, if this is your thing.

@sanantoniospots This quiet, but still scenic (and downtown-adjacent) portion of the River Walk flows through the King William Historic District. ##sanantoniothingstodo#freefun#exploreyourcity#takeawalk#hiddengemsofsanantonio♬ River Flows in You - Yiruma
