Skeeter Named Regular Drummer for Flag City Opry

Tomorrow night's Flag City Opry show in Enda will be my first after being asked to become the permanent drummer in the Flag City Opry band, and it is a real honor to have been asked by the show's manager/emcee, Charlie Kroll. It has been my pleasure to serve as a "fill-in" drummer at the Flag City Opry a few times over the past year, and the group of musicians that makes up rest of the Opry band are some of the finest with whom I have ever worked. I'm looking forward to many exciting upcoming shows, starting with tomorrow night's edition.

I'll be replacing longtime drummer Eddie Briseño, who stepped down due to health issues and his family moving to Seguin. Come on out and have a great time while you support live, local, Country music! I hope I'll see you there!
